NZ Wage & Salary Solution

The New Zealand Wage & Salary Solution was created by EMA and its three sister-organisations to assist employers with any wage and employment related questions from “what should I pay” to “what benefits and conditions do I offer”. The survey reports are refreshed weekly to ensure employers have access to the latest and most reliable remuneration resources across New Zealand.
Feedback from users and stakeholders were that the existing website was confusing, not mobile responsive, and looked aesthetically dated.
Collaborating with a copywriter and a web developer, we were allocated a month to take NZ Wage & Salary through a rebranding process that would ultimately arrive at a redesigned website, all while coordinating with EMA’s sister-organisations to launch a marketing campaign at about the same time.
I was tasked with research, concept ideation, brand and visual identity development, interface, and key marketing collateral designs. I had five days to complete these core components to the rebrand before handing off the assets to the web developer and a junior designer to adapt to the required deliverables.
I crafted a brand manual that would serve as a design guide at the heart of everything EMA and its three sister-organisations would create, moving forward. This manual is fundamental in ensuring that all collaterals will maintain a standard of cohesive and consistent identity throughout the campaign.
I worked closely with the copywriter to align the tone and language of the brand and its website. As soon as the wireframes were approved by the stakeholders, I proceeded to hi-fidelity mockups, with a clear goal of crafting a comprehensive and visually engaging website.
